Be sure to lock your bikes
Staff and students: With the rising gas prices and recent drier weather, more of you are biking to school. Please remember to always lock your bike with the thickest chain and lock you can buy.
If you have an expensive bike, you might want to consider bringing a less expensive bike to campus, or to store your bike elsewhere, as it is very tempting to thieves. We have had a few reports lately of stolen bikes, so please check on your bike frequently and keep it locked!
The security department also offers free bike registration at the security office. Just bring your bike over during office hours (7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday) and we can register your bike with the Newberg Police Department.
