First-generation students invited to Zoom session today

Jenny Elsey, dean of student success and equity, will facilitate a Zoom session for first-generation college students today (Wednesday) from 2 to 3 p.m. The title of the session is “College 101: Making the College Experience Less Mysterious for First-Generation Students.”

First-generation students are the first in their family to attend a four-year college or university. Sometimes, being the first can be scary; this session is designed to help connect with other first-generation students and learn more about what to expect in the first year at George Fox. See the list of ARC Workshops for the link to the Zoom session.

The session will be recorded and a link will be added to the ARC workshops page so the session can be viewed later. Note that this session is one of the “Get Involved” options for LIBA 100.
