Interested in mentoring a high school student?
Catalyst Alternative High School in Newberg is looking for eager mentors for students. Students come to Catalyst for a variety of reasons, including anxiety, depression and social pressures. Many of these students long to have a one-on-one relationship with someone they can trust and look up to. We are looking for mentors who can commit to fall and/or spring semester.
Catalyst is looking for people who are:
- Committed to building relationships with students
- Willing to be proactive and initiative
- Passionate about working with youth
- Attentive listeners
- Encouraging and supportive
- Positive role models
You have the opportunity to be a consistent figure in their life that guides them through obstacles in their school/home/social/academic life.
