Webinar open to prospective language teachers March 4

A free live interactive webinar for prospective language teachers is scheduled from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 4, in EHS 217. The session, entitled “ESL Vocabulary Instruction and Academic Preparation,” will focus on strategies to prepare students for mainstream classrooms.

The presenter will be Dr. Frances Boyd, a professor at Columbia University and coeditor of Longman’s NorthStar series. All interested faculty, students and staff are welcome to attend.
