Beals’ lecture on the American Dream is tonight in Hoover 105

Join us for a Liberal Arts and Critical Issues presentation tonight (Monday), when Corwynn Beals, professor of philosophy and religion at George Fox, presents “The American Dream: Wanted Dead or Alive” in Hoover 105. The same presentation will be made from 5 to 6 p.m. and from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Some say the American Dream is dead – that it is no longer equally possible for all to work hard for true freedom. Others reached “The Dream” and found their soul died along the way. Beals will take a hard look at the status of “The  Dream” and see what people are doing who say that “The Dream” (and their soul) is still alive.
