Woodley presents ‘Whose American Dream?’ lecture Monday
Join us for a Liberal Arts and Critical Issues presentation this Monday, March 6, when Randy Woodley, Distinguished Professor of Faith and Culture, presents “Whose American Dream?” in Hoover 105. The same presentation will be made from 5 to 6 p.m. and from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Woodley, a United Keetoowah Band Cherokee, will discuss such questions as “Where did the American Dream begin and for whom?,” “What are the philosophical foundations for the American Dream and how do they stack up to the way of Jesus?” and “What are the myths that need to be embedded in our psyche in order to participate in the American Dream?”
The theme for this semester’s LACI series is “The Future of the American Dream.” For more information, contact Laurie Fair at lfair@georgefox.edu.
