This one-credit class increases your chances of getting an internship

If you want to prepare yourself for a successful internship search, then enroll in GEED 216 (Course #3722) on Mondays from noon to 12:50 p.m.

You will learn how to:

  • Identify a career direction
  • Create a personal brand
  • Utilize social media and online resources
  • Build a professional network
  • Write a killer resume and cover letter
  • Create a LinkedIn profile that gets results
  • Interview like a pro
  • Create an internship search strategy.

Instructors are Colleen Sump and Kailtyn Ragan from the IDEA Center, and they are passionate about helping students connect to the professional world. This class is ideal for sophomores and juniors.
