All invited to Catholic Mass in Spanish this Thursday in Canyon Commons

Father Martin Tavares of St. Peter Catholic Church in Newberg will provide some teaching on Catholic theology, then celebrate Mass, from 7 to 8 p.m. this Thursday, Sept. 22, in Canyon Commons Room 103. The entire event will be in Spanish, with coffee and light refreshments to follow.

Fr. Tavares, a native of Mexico, studied at the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome and at Mount Angel Seminary. He moved to Newberg in July of this year.

Chapel credit is available to students. All are welcome to attend.
