The Crescent – looking for a business manager
George Fox’s student newspaper, The Crescent, is looking for an undergraduate student for the position of business manager at George Fox’s Newberg campus for the 2007-2008 school year. I was hoping that you might be able to advertise this opportunity in the GFU E-nnouncements. The business manager’s responsibilities include:
Selling ads weekly, coordinating artwork for ads, and handling all billing and collection for ads
Processing all check requests and mail, paying bills, and returning business calls
Working with ASC staff to maintain a balanced budget for The Crescent
In the past, ad clients have ranged from George Fox departments to local businesses to large companies such as GEICO. This position includes a stipend whose amount has not been determined yet. This is a great opportunity for an accounting or business student to gain valuable experience.
