LACI lecture addresses question ‘What is Sex For?’ tonight

All are welcome to a Liberal Arts and Critical Issues lecture tonight (Monday), when Abigail Favale, an assistant professor of English and a faculty fellow in the William Penn Honors Program, speaks on the topic “What is Sex For?” in Hoover 105. The same presentation will be made from 5 to 6 p.m. and from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

If sex is the god of popular culture, what is this god like? In this lecture, Favale will raise philosophical and theological questions about the meaning of sex and its depiction in contemporary American culture.
