Social work club movie night on Friday
Join the social work club on Friday (Feb. 19) at 7 p.m. in Lemmons 8 to watch The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler and eat some pizza! We need everyone to RSVP so we can have enough pizza for everyone.
Irena Sendler was a social worker who was part of the Polish underground during World War II and was arrested by the Nazis for saving the lives of nearly 2,500 Jewish children by smuggling them out of the Warsaw ghetto.
Contact Emily Pelot at epelot13@georgefox.edu if you are planning on attending or have any questions.
