PsyD’s Seegobin speaks on Christianity and culture tonight

All are invited to a Liberal Arts and Critical Issues lecture tonight (Monday), when Winston Seegobin, professor of clinical psychology in the George Fox doctor of psychology program, speaks on the topic “How Does Christianity Influence Cultural Dialogues” in Hoover 105. The same presentation will be made from 5 to 6 p.m. and from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

We live in a diverse world that consists of many cultures. Cultural misunderstandings can easily occur and may result in hurt and pain, even when it is unintentional. In this session, Winston will discuss how we can have healthy cultural dialogues in the context of a Christian university. We will also address how Christian principles and practices can enhance these difficult dialogues.

The theme for this semester’s LACI series is “Christianity and Pop Culture.” For more information, contact Laurie Fair at lfair@georgefox.edu.
