Spring Serve info meeting set for tonight after chapel
Are you interested in leading or participating in a serve trip over spring break? We are looking for both student and faculty leaders. There will be an informational meeting tonight (Wednesday) after chapel (8 p.m.) in Bauman Auditorium.
This year’s trips are going to:
- Camp Attitude, a not-for-profit Christian organization dedicated to providing a unique faith-based camping experience for families in the disability community
- Flying H Ranch, a ranch 30 miles west of Yakima, Wash., that ministers to at-risk youth
- Urban Impact in Seattle, where the focus will be on building relationships and serving in the community through the local church
- Mending Wings, a nonprofit Native American youth organization located on the Yakama Reservation in Washington state
- Word Made Flesh in Los Angeles, where the focus will be to establish beloved community in a low-income neighborhood of the city
If you are interested in participating, applications are due no later than Friday, Feb. 12. If you would like to serve as a student leader, applications are due Saturday, Jan. 30. Applications and more details on each trip are available at this link.
