Serve Day 2015 Information: Please read!

Hello George Fox students!

Serve Day 2015 is under a week away (Sept. 9)! The schedule is below and also on the Serve Day website. If you are new to George Fox, please take a moment to read about the history of Serve Day. This year we are excited to serve more than 100 different groups from around the area.

What you really need to know about Serve Day is that we need you! Serve Day is a great day to get away from campus, create new relationships with people and celebrate the joy in serving.

STUDENTS LIVING ON CAMPUS
You are assigned to a serve site with your living area. Some of the living areas are divided, so contact your RA for detailed information about your site. Your RA will have the site number that you are assigned so that you can go to the right spot on the quad at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning after the kickoff celebration.

COMMUTERS
All commuters are to report to the front of Bauman after the morning breakfast and opening activities at 9 a.m. Commuters will be assigned a Serve Day site at that time and location.

EVERYONE
We know that some of you will not be able to attend Serve Day due to jobs, internships, childcare, doctor’s appointments, etc. If you live on campus you should communicate your conflict with your RA.

If you are a commuter, you do not need to request an excuse. We sure hope you can make it if you do not have a conflict.

Don’t hesitate to contact serveday@georgefox.edu if you have any questions.
