Encourage students to attend MLA workshop
Know of students who need help with MLA style? Encourage them to join us for a workshop, “An Introduction to MLA Style,” today (Thursday) from 10:50 to 11:40 a.m. in Hoover 105.
In this session, Kathy Heininge, associate professor of English, will present key elements of the Modern Language Association style for essays and other written works. MLA is commonly used in humanities courses such as English, literature and modern languages. The workshop is sponsored by the Academic Resource Center.
