Performing Arts presents concerts, recitals this week
The Department of Performing Arts is pleased to present an array of performances this week. All events will be held in Bauman Auditorium unless noted.
On Tuesday, Feb. 24, the Chehalem Symphony Orchestra will perform a 7:30 p.m. concert under the direction of Ben Brooks in its first concert of the semester.
On Wednesday, Feb. 25, Sharayah Bodnar, bass clarinetist and mezzo-soprano, will present a junior recital at 7:30 p.m.
On Thursday, Feb. 26, the department’s small chamber ensembles will present their first concert of the semester. Featured will be the university’s String Ensemble, Early Music Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, Handbell Choirs, Low Brass Ensemble.
On Friday, Feb. 27, a vocal master class is scheduled in Ross 208 from 12:40 to 1:30 p.m. That same evening, Libby Tate, soprano, will present a senior recital at 7:30 p.m.
To cap off the week, on Saturday, Feb. 28, Rachel Consenz, soprano, and Nick Grant, baritone, will present a junior recital at 7:30 p.m.
