Ticket sales for “Portraits of Courage” begin Jan. 26

Portraits of Courage: African Americans You Wish You Had Known is a 65 minute play that discusses African Americans who have been influential to the development of America, but typically fly under the radar of history lessons. These six people have all played a pivotal role in American culture and history and this show gives the audience the ability to learn and appreciate them in an engaging and entertaining light.

A discussion will follow the show.

Tickets go on sale Monday, January 26 and may be purchase in person at the GFU bookstore box office or by calling ext. 3844.  All GFU students may receive one free ticket by reserving a seat through the GFU Bookstore.  The play features reserved seating starting at 6:30 p.m. Outside community members are invited.

Prices: 
$8 adults, $6 seniors/alumni, $5 students with ID
