Plan to attend music concerts this Saturday

This is a reminder of the music concerts scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, in Bauman Auditorium. Students and employees are entitled to one complimentary ticket to the jazz concert. Tickets may be picked up in the Pennington House on campus or can be obtained by calling 503-554-3844. Additional tickets are $7 per person and may be either purchased at the door or online at music.georgefox.edu.

Family Weekend Concert
At 2:30 p.m. that afternoon, the school’s Chamber Choir, Women’s Chorale, Chamber Ensemble, Concert Choir and Symphonic Band will perform a Family Weekend Concert as part of Homecoming and Family Weekend festivities. Admission is free, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

‘Evening of Jazz’ Concert
That evening, at 7:30 p.m., the university will host its annual “Evening of Jazz,” concert, featuring trombonist Wycliffe Gordon in concert with the George Fox Jazz Ensemble and Faculty Trio. Gordon is described as “an energetic performer, a prolific composer and arranger.”
