Campus community invited to join in reading ‘Tattoos on the Heart’
This fall marks the third year that all incoming first-year students will been given a “Common Reading” as part of the First Year Seminar program. The campus community is invited to join our incoming students in reading Tattoos on the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion by Gregory Boyle.
Consider adding the book to your summer reading list, and keep your eyes open for more information about Common Reading events during the fall semester. If you need more motivation, check out this short LA Times article about the book. Faculty members, you might consider how the book might be addressed in your classes.
Contact Rick Muthiah (rmuthiah@georgefox.edu) if you have questions or would like to help with Common Reading activities.
