Please be sure to observe policy regarding staff parking permits
It has come to Security Service’s attention that several children of staff and faculty have been using their parents’ staff permit and car to drive to campus, and have been seen parking in staff lots and going to class. Unfortunately, this is a violation of the staff parking permit, which is to be used only by the staff member to whom it was assigned.
It isn’t an issue if your student always comes to school with you, but if they are driving one of your cars to school, they must register the car themselves and park in the proper non-staff lot. If both student and staff share a family car, the staff member should leave a note on the dashboard when it is them driving, and the student should take down the staff permit and park in the proper lot for their student permit when they are the driver.
