Farewell receptions scheduled for McMinn, Brendlinger, Macy

Three farewell receptions are scheduled for faculty members this week:

  • A reception to honor Lisa McMinn, who will be leaving George Fox at the end of this term, is set from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, in the Stevens Center’s Duke Atrium. Please drop by to wish Lisa well.
  • Irv Brendlinger is retiring from the Department of Religious Studies. Please join us for a reception honoring Irv and thanking him for his contribution to the George Fox community on Thursday, April 19, from 4:15 to 6 p.m. in the Stevens Center (Duke) Atrium.
  • Finally, a retirement reception for Margi Macy (Education), who has spent 30 years at the university, is set from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in Room 117 of the Villa Academic Complex.
