Business expo event scheduled on campus April 24

A free-admission “‘Beat the Recession’ Business Expo” is scheduled from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, in the Villa Academic Complex.

Sponsored by the Christian Chamber of Commerce of the Northwest, the event will feature dozens of exhibitors in an event designed “to promote businesses, services and nonprofit outreaches that are working hard to thrive in the local economy,” according to Dundee businesswoman Vida Ice, event organizer.

According to Ice, the expo is the first of its kind in Yamhill County. Attendees will have the opportunity to network and to learn more about local businesses and the Christian Chamber. The business expo will begin about nine hours after the April Newberg meeting takes place at the same location with featured speaker, Portland-area author and pastor Bill Perkins.

Businesses or organizations that would like to participate as exhibitors should contact Ice at vida@vidaice.com or 503-750-9062. Cost to exhibit is $20 for Christian Chamber members, $30 for non-members.
