Lunch with a Legislative Candidate

Interested in politics? Come to a special brown bag lunch with Dan Mason, candidate for Oregon’s House of Representatives this Friday.

February 17  from 12-1:30 p.m., in the Executive Dining Room

This interactive gathering will be a great opportunity to learn more about the political process from an insider’s perspective. Among other topics, Dan will share about:

– Factors to consider when thinking about a run for office
– The decision making process and factors that impacted his decision to run
– The process of building a campaign including an advisory team, message and platform, and strategy
– Raising financial support
– Developing a network of supporters and endorsements
– Experience with past campaigns
– Opportunities for involvement and potential internships
– And any questions that you may have about the process
