Auditions for ‘The Broken’

George Fox University theatre announces auditions for an original piece titled The Broken. Due to the nature of this piece, we have structured the audition process differently than usual:

Day 1:
Monday, Feb. 6, from 8-10 p.m. in Wood-Mar Auditorium
This is an ensemble audition, consisting of a movement workshop and cold readings from the working script. Also, be ready to perform a 90-second monologue if asked. Sign-ups for this audition will be in Ross.

Day 2:
Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 8-10 p.m. in Wood-Mar Auditorium
This ensemble audition will be a continuation of the movement workshop and cold readings.

Note: If you are at all involved with the Spring Choir Concert, you will not be able to audition for The Broken because performances conflict.

Important Dates:
Rehearsals begin Feb. 20, running Monday-Friday 7-11  p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Performances are April 12-14 and 19-21 at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee on April 22 at 2 p.m.

This is a challenging piece that will require focus and discipline, so bring you best work to you audition.
