Save the Date: Annual Serve Day is set for Wednesday, Sept. 16
We are so excited to have you join us for Serve Day on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Serve Day is one of George Fox’s most meaningful annual traditions — a day when employees and students step off campus together to learn and serve alongside community organizations and neighbors.
Participation is required for all full-time undergraduate students. Here are some important reminders for the day:
- Update or confirm your contact information: Make sure your contact information is up-to-date in MyGeorgeFox. To update your information or verify, go to MyGeorgeFox, click “Profile” and then “Contact Details.”
- Save the date for Sept. 16: All university offices and departments will be closed on this date. Leave the day open to volunteer. The event kickoff starts at 9 a.m., and teams will return to campus between 1 and 3 p.m. A celebration on the quad will follow.
- Look out for communication: You will receive communication from your living area, or respective serve site leader, leading up to the event. The information will include site number (this indicates where you will meet on the quad), site location, and additional details.
