Be aware of water testing on campus tomorrow

Tomorrow (Tuesday), the city of Newberg will be testing the water meters at the following locations:

  • Morse Fields at 11 a.m. (water will be off)
  • Two meters at EHS & Wood-Mar: Meter for EHS at 1 p.m. (water should remain on); meter for Wood-Mar at 2 p.m. (water will be off)
  • Wheeler at 3 p.m. (water will be off)
  • Roberts Center at 4 p.m. (water should remain on)

Testing is expected to take anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour at each meter location. If the water is off at your location, restrooms and drinking fountains will be closed during the test.

When the water is restored, please open the taps on the faucets slowly to release any pressure. The water may have to run for a couple of minutes to clear any mineral content that may have become dislodged in the water pipes.
