IT: Some ‘tech tips’ to keep you connected this summer
As we head into the summer, here are a few “tech tips” to be mindful of.
- Make sure you have two methods of authentication for MFA in order to stay connected.
- Use the above link to change the phone number associated with your MFA if you need to add an international number.
If you get a new phone:
- Consult the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): I Got a New Phone document
- If you have lost access to your previous phone you will need to call the Service Desk for assistance.
When traveling with a laptop:
- Do not leave your laptop in the car
- Keep out of the sun or heat source
- Do not leave it unattended
