Share your COVID-19 story with future generations

Sunday, May 10th, 2020

If you could teach someone about COVID-19 and the quarantine 100 years from now, what would you share? What records and artifacts would you give them to learn from? In 100 years where would historians find these records?

We in archives invite George Fox students and employees to share your COVID-19 story with this submission form. How has this pandemic impacted your life? What has this experience been like for you? Sharing your experiences now will help people in the future understand what life was like during the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you have any questions, contact Rachel Thomas at rthomas@georgefox.edu.

Friday, May 1st, 2020

In order to mark the day we originally scheduled undergraduate commencement, we have created a virtual event for graduates, their families and friends to enjoy from wherever they are currently living at a time that is convenient.

After 8 a.m. today (Saturday), a virtual ceremony can be viewed. Visit this page for the link to watch the event, as well as links to a special commissioning message from University Pastor Jamie Noling-Auth and a special “Get to Know the Class of 2020” feature.

The virtual commencement ceremony features separate captioned versions in English, Spanish and Mandarin. This service is available on your desktop computer or mobile device.

Congratulations, graduates!
