Bicycle roundup starts May 6

Wednesday, May 1st, 2019

Campus Public Safety will be conducting its annual bicycle roundup starting Monday, May 6. If you are staying on campus over the summer and plan to keep a bike here, please come to the Campus Public Safety office to get a sticker ID so your bike will not be removed.

  • At the end of the spring semester, a university-wide bicycle cleanup is done. Bicycles that are illegally parked, unregistered or inoperable are impounded. Bicycle racks need to be cleared to do routine maintenance to the bicycles racks and surrounding areas.
  • Bicycles may not be stored on the campus during the summer semester. Bicycle claims can be made at the Campus Public Safety office.
  • Students using their bikes during the summer must move their bikes to the nearest rack of their summer housing.
  • Bicycles not picked up from the impound lot within 60 days will be forwarded to the local charities at the discretion of the Campus Public Safety office. Junk bicycles will be recycled.

Questions? Contact Ed Gierok at egierok@georgefox.edu.
