Please help support Chehalem Youth and Family Services by picking up a gift tag on the Giving Tree in the Stevens Center’s Duke Atrium and purchase a gift for a teenage boy or girl. You may leave the unwrapped gift with tag attached under the tree – or bring them to the Office of University Relations (Pennington House). Gift cards are easy and convenient if you are unsure of what to purchase.
Questions? Contact Danya Ochsner (University Relations) at ext. 2121 or dochsner@georgefox.edu.

Student supervisors, please be sure to collect your student employee’s time sheets before they leave for winter break. Please submit these time sheets to Human Resources right away. If students will be working over the winter break, turn time sheets in when they are done for the month.
While we would like the time sheets as early as possible, all December time sheets must be turned in to Human Resources by Tuesday, Jan. 4, by noon. Please be sure the student’s name, ID number and cost center number is legible on each one. Also, don’t forget to sign them and be sure the students did as well. (If the student is not available to sign it, please send it without the signature, and HR will contact the student.)
Please do not send students to HR to sign their time sheets. Federal Work Study regulations require that students delivering their own time sheets must have them in a sealed envelope.
Note about new students: If you have hired students for December, please hand-deliver their paperwork right away. We need to set up students in the system before the time sheets arrive. If you have hired students to start in January, please submit their paperwork as soon as possible. Thanks very much.
Thanks,
HR

Don’t forget to turn in your December timesheets to your supervisor before you leave for winter break. Be sure your name is typed or printed legibly at the top, it is complete and accurate, and you have signed it. If you will be working over the winter break, make sure you sign and turn in your timesheet when you are done working for the month. Payday is on Friday, January 15. Have a wonderful Christmas!

Signs and permanent exterior displays on the George Fox campus need to be approved by marketing communications in order to ensure that the university presents a consistent, professional image to external and internal audiences. In accordance with this policy (Employee Handbook 2.15), campus lamppost banners also need to be created or approved by Marcom prior to printing.
The banners will need to meet a high standard of quality and visual appeal, and be consistent with the university’s visual identity system. Banner materials, whether vinyl or fabric, should be opaque enough for lettering to not be clearly visible on the backside.
For further information or help, please submit a job request on the Marcom webpage or contact Tamara Cissna, director of brand management.
