The Thailand May Serve team is now accepting donations for a garage sale in the Ron Gregory Atrium in EHS on the Newberg campus April 12. All items must be donated by April 11. The sale will take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The George Fox Symphonic Band, directed by Pat Vandehey, will perform a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 13, in Bauman Auditorium. The band will be accompanied by the university’s Flute Ensemble and Early Music Ensemble.
The band will perform “Inglesina (The little English Girl)†by David Delle Cese, “Thus Do You Fare, My Jesus†by Alfred Reed, “Morning Star†by David Maslanka, “Vilia†by Franz Lehar, and “Symphonic Overture†by James Barnes.
The following evening, Friday, March 14, the university’s Jazz Band will perform a free concert in Bauman Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

Due to a technical glitch, employees and students received outdated e-nnouncement and/or e-Colleague news on March 12. The mishap was a result of the system improperly categorizing 15 old e-nnouncements as new ones. The Office of Marketing and Communications apologizes for the inconvenience.

Student art will be exhibited in the Minthorne and Lindgren galleries through Wednesday, April 2. The exhibit includes paintings, ceramics, sculpture, mixed media, graphic design, illustration, and photography. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Tilikum Center for Retreats and Outdoor Ministries is hosting its annual 10K Run and 5K Walk/Run at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at Champoeg State Park in St. Paul.
The theme is “Go the Distance … To Get Kids to Camp.” The event is a fund-raiser to bring underprivileged kids to Tilikum for summer camp. Participants receive a T-shirt, a chance for door prizes, and awards. The entry fee/minimum donation is $35 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and younger. Worship Design Team Applications available now!Â
If you are interested in working on the team that helps plan our chapel services this is your chance.Â
Positions we are looking for include:Â
Worship Leaders – up to three individuals
Art & Space Intern – helps with stage design
Media/Communications Intern – works with Media Shout, Power Point and Advertising
Administrative Team Leader – works with chapel logistics, helps as a student leader on the team, and handles hospitality matters with our speakers, etc.
All of these positions receive a good stipend paid at the end of each semester.Â
Applications can be found by the ASC offices in the SUB and must be turned into Student Life by March 13 at 5:00 p.m.
