Update your parking permit

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

Welcome back, Students!

If your housing has changed from one side of the campus to another, or off-campus, you will need to change your parking permit.

Please scrape off your old permit with a single-edge razor blade and bring it to the Security office between 7am and 3pm M-F to exchange it for the correct permit for your new housing status.

Likewise, if you changed cars over break, bring in your previous permit in person. We will exchange it for a new one for your new vehicle and update your registration.

If you are bringing a car to campus for the first time, and were previously registered as NO CAR, please enter the pertinent data on the vehicle registration link on Bruindata.

A parking permit will be charged to your account and sent to you via campus mail. You will need to sign for it like a package at the main Post Office by the track once it has been issued.

Please don’t hesitate to call us at ext. 2090 between 7am and 3pm M-F if you have any questions.

Security Services offers parking permits for guests

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

If you anticipate having guests coming to visit the Newberg campus, please call (ext. 2090) or e-mail Security Services (nkincaid@georgefox.edu) so we can e-mail you a Visitor Parking Permit template you can customize for your visitors. You can then e-mail it to them in advance, and they can print it out and arrive with it on their car dashboard. You can also attach a campus map so they will know where to park.

By checking with us in advance of your visiting guests, we can then check the daily schedule and advise you on the best place for them to park. This will save them a trip to our office to procure a Visitor Parking Permit, and will help us to better know who is on campus for what event. Call ext. 2090 if you have further questions.
