Anderson and Macy present on ‘Saint John’s Bible’ tonight

The university community is invited to a free public lecture and viewing of The Saint John’s Bible tonight (Thursday) from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in Hoover 105.

Leading the presentation will be Howard Macy, emeritus professor of religion and biblical studies, and Paul Anderson, professor of biblical and Quaker studies. They will present “Seeing the Word of God – The Illuminative Impact of The Saint John’s Bible,” in which they will explore the most compelling of 160 new artistic masterpieces in the first illuminated Bible produced by the Benedictine Order in 500 years.

Professors Macy and Anderson will expand on “seeing the Word of God,” followed by a firsthand viewing of Volume 1, Pentateuch.

Contact Anderson (panderso@georgefox.edu) for more information.
