‘Food and Faith in a Postmodern World’ presented Monday

The campus community is invited to a Liberal Arts and Critical Issues presentation, “Eating Matters: Food and Faith in a Postmodern World,” this Monday, March 2, in Hoover 105. The session runs from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and features Lisa Graham McMinn, a writer in residence at George Fox.

McMinn will discuss how local food movements in the U.S. (and globally) are helping educate and mend a fragmented, postmodern society in which we often don’t know where our food comes from or how it is produced. She will discuss how these movements invite individuals and communities to celebrate by eating good food – food that comes from just, compassionate and healthy sources.
