Second LACI lecture set for Monday in Hoover 105

The campus community is invited to the second installment of the “Finding Our Way in Postmodern America” Liberal Arts and Critical Issues series this Monday, Feb. 2, in Hoover 105. The session runs from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and features Cynthia C. Gomez, director of Cultural Centers at Portland State University and commissioner at the Oregon Commission on Hispanic Affairs.

Gomez will present “Intersectional Identities and Conceptions of Self,” in which she will examine the ways in which our intersectional identities, as they relate to our ability to reach our full human potential, are shaped by large structural, historical and economic forces.
