Attention supervisors: Student time sheets needed in HR by May 2

Wednesday, April 25th, 2012

Student supervisors: Would you please submit your students’ April time sheets as soon as your students finish their last work shifts and no later than Wednesday, May 2? This due date is a little earlier than usual because we won’t have our wonderful student employees here to help process this payroll.

A few reminders:

If your student has school-year hours that are continuing into the first few days of May, please include these hours on a separate May academic year time sheet and submit it to HR as soon as they are done for the year.

A quick checklist of items regarding time sheets:

  • Please be sure the student’s name, ID number and cost center number are legible.
  • Please total them, sign them and be sure the students did as well. (If a student leaves without signing his or her time sheet, please send it to HR anyway.)
  • To keep us in compliance with Federal Work Study regulations, please be sure that if you ask students to deliver their own time sheets, you first place the sheets in a sealed envelope.

If you have any questions, contact Melodee Powers at mpowers@georgefox.edu.

Thanks for all your work this past year in attending to these details. Without you doing your part, it would have been tough to meet our monthly payrolls.
