Check out current inventory on new surplus operations webpage

August 4th, 2024

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new webpage for George Fox University surplus operations! Our program is dedicated to helping manage the university’s physical inventory, with a mission to efficiently facilitate the pick-up, processing, redistribution, and sale of surplus equipment.

At George Fox, we are committed to working closely with our community to remove surplus equipment from campus buildings, ensuring these items find new homes or recycling markets. This effort supports our role as environmental stewards and partners in sustainability.

Explore our new webpage by visiting the Plant Services website and selecting the Surplus tab at the top. Here, you can learn more about our operations and browse our current inventory, available for personal purchase or for department use at no cost to the department.

When requesting items for departmental use, please ensure that they have a designated location, as all items will be tracked in our inventory records. Additionally, some items may be considered outdated and might not be available for department reuse, as we work toward keeping our facilities modernized and aesthetically pleasing.

In the near future, we plan to have designated days for drop-ins, allowing you to visit us in person and see what we have available. These dates will be announced in The Daily Bruin as well as on our new webpage. Please avoid inquiring or visiting with the plant services office directly, as they no longer store our surplus inventory.

Join us in making a difference through responsible reuse and recycling!
