Three things you need to know about COVID-19 and campus life:
-
Wear your face masks where required. By state mandate, masks are required in indoor public spaces and at outdoor public settings where six feet of physical distancing is not possible.
-
Let us know if you have symptoms. Students and employees who experience COVID-19 or cold symptoms should quarantine and let the university know by completing the COVID Care Form. We can help you – and protect our community – if you let us know.
- Free COVID testing and vaccinations are available on the Newberg campus. Contact the Health and Counseling Center to make an appointment (503-554-2340).

All students who plan to bring a vehicle to campus must register their vehicles for parking permits!
The university parking registration fee has been incorporated into the Student Fee, so students will no longer need to pay an additional out-of-pocket fee to register their vehicle. Students bringing a vehicle to campus must register their vehicle and obtain a parking permit.
There have been significant changes in parking areas this year, so be sure to look over your new parking map to ensure you are parking in the right place.
Here is some more info:
- All students may order a permit this year.
- All residents may order a resident parking permit.
- All commuters may order a commuter parking permit.
- Graduate students may order a graduate permit.
- Vehicles must be parked in the lots assigned to their permit designation.
Register here and be sure to have your DMV registration slip in front of you.
If you have any trouble registering your vehicle, please call our office at 503-554-2090 so that we may assist you.
Questions? Call the Campus Public Safety office at the above number, or email Elrike Shaw at eshaw@georgefox.edu.

Staff and faculty: Please plan to park along the street, in the front lot of Roberts, the Stevens lot or Hoover lot on Friday.
The Bauman and Le Shana parking lots have been barricaded, so please park nearest to Stoffer Stadium if you need to park in the Bauman lot. Also, please do not park in the Pennington lot.
The parking rows adjacent to the service road by Newlin are also barricaded and unavailable for parking.
Questions? Please contact Campus Public Safety at 503-554-2090 and view the parking brochure on the Campus Public Safety website for lot locations.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation to help make move-in day the best day ever for our new students!

It takes a village to make our football games a success. Interested in a volunteer opportunity to serve our awesome Bruin football fans? Then Bruin Brigade is the place for you!
The Bruin Brigade is a team of volunteers who help at the ticket tent, gates and in the parking lots directing traffic prior to every home game. The team arrives two hours prior to kickoff and are free to enjoy the rest of the game starting at halftime. All volunteers will receive a meal prior to each game they volunteer, free entry into the second half, and a T-shirt.
If this sounds like something you would like to help with, please email Mindy Mickelson in the athletics department at mmickelson@georgefox.edu with your first and last name, the games you can volunteer, and your T-shirt size.
Please note: We are asking for a three-game commitment to receive a T-shirt. Volunteers working the gates will need to be willing to use their phone to scan in tickets through the HomeTown Gate app (free on app store). Wi-Fi is available at the gates.
