Join us in the chapel on Friday, April 11, for a special Resonate concert featuring singer-songwriter and recording artist Jon Guerra. The doors will open at 6 p.m., and the concert will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Jon’s debut album, Little Songs, was released in 2015. He also composed music for Terrence Malick’s 2019 film, A Hidden Life. His first album of devotional music is Keeper of Days, which was followed by Ordinary Ways in 2023.
One review concluded, “as timely as it is, Guerra’s Ordinary Ways is also absolutely timeless. It’s basic Christianity, basic trust, basic worship, humbly set to song. It’s a slice of one bard’s devotional life, yet it joins a chorus of awestruck praise that has been unceasing for centuries and will echo on in the heavenly throngs, world without end.” Jon Guerra’s new EP, American Gospel, is out now.
The Resonate banner flies over monthly seminars, ad hoc concerts, and biennial conferences organized by the George Fox Apologetics Initiative to showcase the goodness, truth, and beauty of Christianity. Join the Resonate mailing list here.

Today and tomorrow (Thursday and Friday) have the potential for wild winter weather, from freezing rain to snowy conditions. Safety is our top priority, and we ask that you take extra care when commuting, walking around campus, entering buildings, and moving between locations. Please keep the following in mind:
- Drive safely: Allow extra time for your commute and reduce your speed to account for slippery roads.
- Walk carefully: Watch for icy patches on sidewalks, parking lots and entryways. Use designated walkways whenever possible. Check out these safety tips.
- Report hazards: If you notice any areas with dangerous ice buildup, please report them to Plant Services or to your building monitor.
Let’s work together to ensure a safe and productive environment during these winter months. Thank you for your attention and cooperation. If you have any questions, contact Kim Knoernschild at kknoernschild@georgefox.edu.
