Attend civil discourse discussion Nov. 13 with the hosts of ‘The Oregon Bridge’

November 8th, 2023

Ben Bowman is a Democrat in the Oregon State Legislature. Reagan Knopp is a Republican political activist. They disagree… a lot! But they also work together to produce The Oregon Bridge, the best political podcast in the state.

How do they do it? How do they relate to their guests from across the political spectrum? How do they keep the podcast so upbeat and civil? What effect are they trying to have on Oregon politics? How much pushback do they get from people in the two major parties? What can we learn from their experience?

Come find out this Monday evening, Nov. 13, at 7:15 p.m. in Hoover 105. This event is sponsored by the George Fox University Civility Project. For further information, contact Ron Mock at civility@georgefox.edu.

  • Tuition remission is an employee benefit for eligible employees and dependents who desire to attend George Fox University. Tuition remission enrollment will begin soon and a notification will come from the Office of People and Culture.

For information about the Tuition Exchange program and eligibility, please review the Employee Handbook Section 4.8.1 and 4.9. If you meet the outlined eligibility requirements, please submit your information on this form no later than Dec. 31, 2023.
