Streamline student learning with NotebookLM

February 5th, 2026

Help your students organize course materials with NotebookLM, a specialized AI assistant that stays grounded strictly in the materials they provide. By uploading their lecture notes, PDFs and other resource links into specific “Notebooks,” students can transform a scattered folder of files into a cohesive, interactive study suite.

The tool helps them make deeper connections across your specific curriculum, essentially becoming an expert on your course materials so they can become one, too.

Beyond organization, NotebookLM fosters research-backed study habits like active recall. Students can use the summary features as a refresher for foundational concepts or instantly generate practice quizzes and flashcards for evidence-based exam prep.

Encouraging your students to build these Notebooks now ensures they are prepared for midterms and finals with a personalized AI tutor ready to go.

Please review university policies and your course guidelines about appropriate use of AI tools with students. Review the AI for Student Success page for resources on responsible AI use to support student learning.

Contact Rick Muthiah at rmuthiah@georgefox.edu with any feedback or questions.
