Every other year, the Office of Student Life distributes a survey to assess athletic and recreational interest and participation. The purpose of the survey is to determine the extent to which the athletic and recreational interests and abilities of students at George Fox University are being met by the current recreational, intramural, club and intercollegiate athletic offerings.
Last week, you received an email from the Office of Student Life about completing this survey. If you have not completed it already, we encourage you to do so! Here is a link to the survey. It should require less than 10 minutes of your time.
The information, which is being requested from all students, will be used by the university for evaluation, research and planning purposes. Please note that all responses are strictly confidential. No personal identifying information is collected, and while we do ask for some demographic information, this information cannot be used to identify you.
Thanks for your participation in this survey and enjoy the rest of your semester!

Here are a few reminders about the revised curriculum proposal process:
- Any curricular change intended for the 2025-26 academic year must be initiated by Friday, Sept. 27, 2024. The initiate form simply asks proposers to answer five brief questions, which are then sent to their dean/program director for approval of the idea.
- After approval is given, the curriculum clerk (during the month of October) will work with the proposer to develop and finalize the full curriculum proposal document for review by their division curriculum committee based on the desired curriculum change.
- Complete proposals (for any curricular change) should be emailed to curriculum@georgefox.edu.
- Proposals will be considered by division curriculum committees in the order they are received starting in mid-September.
A link to the initiate form can be found here or on the Curriculum Council website.
Questions about the curriculum process can be emailed to curriculum@georgefox.edu.

Campus Public Safety has begun issuing citations this week. We are aware that parking is limited, so check the map for your parking areas.
Extra space is always available at the Morse lot, located by the baseball fields. This lot is on the outer edge of campus, and is ideal if you are not using your vehicle often. This will free up space for students who use their vehicles often for work, appointments, etc.
Please note that Campus Safety is available to shuttle students after dark, especially to and from the Morse lot.
Please register your vehicle if you have not done so already.
Contact CPS at 503-554-2090 or campussafety@georgefox.edu if you have any questions.
