The university community is invited to an all-employee meeting from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, in Hoover 105. The event will be live-streamed at the Portland Center in Room 160.
Attention Portland Center employees: University photographer Joel Bock will be at the Portland Center for a scheduled photo shoot tomorrow (Wednesday, July 22) from 12:30 to 2 p.m. He will set up out front of the south building on the west side.
If your employee photo on the university website is in need of updating, this is your chance to get it done! Not sure if you need a retake? If your existing photo is more than two years old, is poorly lit, is out of focus, and/or has a gray, brown or black background, it’s time for an update.
No appointment is necessary, and each photo subject will be done in only two to three minutes. Solid, neutral clothing colors are recommended.

Many of you have been asking when the vehicle registration will be available on MyGFU, and the answer is: end of July! The final touches and testing are being done on the new registration portal, and if all goes well it will go live around the last week of July.
We will be announcing it via The Daily Bruin and also on the security services’ Facebook page, so stay tuned! It will require a little bit more information than before, so be sure and have your vehicle registration printout from the DMV in front of you when you begin registering.
Instructions will be on the vehicle registration link, so stay tuned for the date it is ready to receive vehicle registrations. Portland Center employees will need to register if they are frequently on the Newberg campus.
