Faculty members are invited to join Maranda Turner, assistant professor of education, via Zoom tomorrow (Tuesday) from 3 to 4 p.m. for a session on “Embracing Student Choice in Assignments.â€
This hour-long conversation, sponsored by Disability and Accessibility Services, will provide a short description of the benefits of implementing student choice and will unpack small steps that allow for increased student accessibility. It will also include a group conversation about how to balance the power of student choice with the demands of feedback and grading.

Academic research articles are great, but there are a lot of other things out there that can help you with your research project too! Join librarian Jenny Bruxvoort to learn more about using books, background sources, and high-quality information available outside of the library in your research.

This semester, the library is offering a series of workshops to help the Fox community navigate our increasingly digital library environment. Each workshop will be taught by a different librarian, making these sessions an excellent way to refresh your skills, learn something new, or hear an old concept in a new way.

The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is seeking participants for a study that aims to assess how a person’s level of activity relates to characteristics of their foot, such as shape and muscle strength.
Participants will be asked to attend one test session lasting about 45 minutes during which their foot characteristics will be measured. Participants will then wear a step counter for the next several days and return for their last session to have the step counter data collected.

Cherice Bock, an adjunct faculty member in the creation care program at Portland Seminary, will host a Zoom session, “Spirituality and Environmental Justice: Being an Ally in the Community of Creation,” on Wednesday, March 31, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
Bock serves as the creation justice advocate at Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon. As a recorded Quaker minister and alumna of George Fox, her concern for creation grows out of her Christian faith and her commitment to the calling to love God and love her neighbor as herself.

We are in need of a couple of kids to be “taught†by one of our recent MAT alumni for our photoshoot taking place this Saturday, March 6, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the C.S. Lewis Academy.
Only the back of their heads will be shown, but they can say they are famous and seen by thousands!

- Exploring Single-Session Therapy (SST)
- Learning the components of PCBH/CoCM and how to match billing services to billing codes
