Information about church shuttles

Friday, September 6th, 2019

Are you looking for a church while you are at George Fox? The Office for Spiritual Life has a web page to help you get connected with area churches.

There will also be a church fair on the quad during dinner on Serve Day, Wednesday, Sept. 11, so you can get acquainted with pastors and ministry opportunities.

A number of area churches are sending shuttles to our campus to make it easy for you to get to church during the month of September.

The following churches have worked with the spiritual life office and have agreed to ensure your safety by adhering to these university stipulations: two representatives in the vehicle, a sign clearly marking the vehicle, and pick-up and drop-off before and after services.

Although these churches are trusted community partners, we ask you to use discretion in your church search and travel.

All shuttles will pick up in front of the spiritual life office at Barclay House.

  • Red Hills Church – 8:35 to 8:45 a.m., 10:35 to 10:45 a.m.
  • Northwest Christian Church – 8:30 to 8:45 a.m., 10 to 10:15 a.m.
  • North Valley Friends Church – 10:35 a.m.
  • Newberg Emerging Friends Church – 4:45 p.m.
  • Timberline Baptist Church – 8:45 a.m.
  • Newberg First Presbyterian Church – 10 a.m., 10:15 a.m.
  • Family Life Church – 10:10 a.m.
  • Grace Baptist Church – 8:30 a.m.
  • River Street Church of God – 10 a.m.
  • Newberg Nazarene Church – 10:15 a.m.

  • Northside Community Church – 9:30 a.m.
