As we continue week three of the academic year – the week when George Fox University typically holds our annual Serve Day – we invite you to participate in a campus-wide prayer effort on behalf of our surrounding community.
In lieu of our tangible expressions of service, this year we would love for you to pray specifically for one of the community organizations that we serve on Serve Day each year. This can include, but is not limited to, praying for their work, staff, and the populations they serve.
Please plan to offer prayers throughout the day tomorrow (Wednesday) as the Holy Spirit directs you.
If you would like us to match you with a partner site, please email us at spirituallife@georgefox.edu. Make sure to be on the lookout for more virtual service opportunities from the Office for Spiritual Life in the near future!

Because the university is asking students to stay on campus for the first weeks of school, the Office for Spiritual Life is extending you the opportunity to enjoy worship with your church community right here on campus. In addition, for the first five weeks of the semester, we are offering SpiL credit for attending each of these on-campus live-stream gatherings.
As space is limited in each location, reserve your spot in the iAttended app, where you will also find the on-campus location for each gathering. We will watch the occupancy limits and open up additional rooms if needed. By way of reminder, our current university policy restricts group singing and wind instruments on campus.
Join the following congregations in celebrating the goodness of God:
- Cedar Creek Church: 10 a.m.
- First Presbyterian: 10:30 a.m.
- Grace Baptist Church: 9 a.m.
- Imago Dei: 10 a.m.
