Wednesday, March 4th, 2020

Want to know what time is best for your body to exercise? Want to help out two students with their senior seminar projects? Then we have a study for you!

We need volunteers to participate in a study that relates the time of day exercise is performed to sleep quality. Participants of all fitness levels may choose two days of the week to exercise in the morning hours, rest a day, and then work out two days in the evening hours. All communication is done through email, and participants can choose their type of exercise based off the heart rate requirements. If you are interested, contact April Kluthe at akluthe17@georgefox.edu.

Attend biology lecture on tissue development Tuesday

In the process of discovering the genes that contribute to holding the roundworm’s skin together, we found an unexpected connection to Marfan syndrome, a connective tissue disorder. Mid-semester grade information

Monday, March 2nd, 2020

Please note that Sunday, March 22, is the last day to withdraw from a class without a grade responsibility. This means that if you withdraw from a class prior to March 22, you will receive a “W” on your transcript.

If you are failing a class and you don’t withdraw, your GPA will be affected in a negative way. Information regarding withdrawing from a class can be found on this webpage.

Students with a “D” or an “F” on their midterms should make an appointment with their CAP coach as soon as possible to discuss the ramifications of withdrawing from a class.

Students withdrawing from a class should contact their CAP coach as well to discuss their class schedule for future semesters. CAP coaches can be reached at this link.

Other resources are available on campus for students:

If you need any assistance, email studentlife@georgefox.edu.
