George Fox University welcomes Pat Gelsinger, former CEO of Intel Corporation, to campus for an engaging and timely lecture: “Big Tech & Big Responsibility: F.AI.th, Work, and Preparing the Next Generation – How Industry Leaders Can Foster Ethical Innovation.”
The lecture will be on Tuesday, April 8, at 7 p.m. in Bauman Auditorium. Chapel credit will be given to students who attend. You can claim seats by visiting this link.

The city of Newberg will be doing some work on Fulton Street, beginning today (Monday) and continuing until Friday, April 18. The city will be upgrading the sewer, water and storm underground utilities, as well as paving Fulton Street.
No street parking will be allowed along Fulton Street from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Further details about the scope of work are not available at this time.
Access to university parking lots will be available via side entrances along Villa Road or Center Street. It is unclear if there will be access to the small, circular lot by Wheeler Sports Center.
Avoiding the use of Fulton Street is highly recommended during this time; both Portland Road and Crestview Drive should allow you to circumvent the work.
