Come join us at 7 p.m. tonight (Tuesday) as J. Daryl Charles and Mark David Hall, coeditors of America and the Just War Tradition: A History of U.S. Conflicts, discuss their recently published book.
The authors will provide a brief overview of the book, then Ron Mock and Gina Miller will respond to it. We’ll leave plenty of time for questions, comments and objections from the audience. We will meet in Hoover 105.
The panel may address questions such as: Is the just war tradition compatible with biblical Christianity? Was the War for American Independence a just war? What is the most unjust war America has ever fought? Was any war fought in a perfectly just manner? Does modern military technology make the just war tradition obsolete?
Questions? Contact Hall at mhall@georgefox.edu.
