The minimum for Office Depot is $50 and the minimum for Staples is $75. When placing an order, you may continue to add items to your shopping cart until you reach the MOV threshold. Once the threshold has been reached, you can proceed to checkout.

Use Employee Council site as a resource

Thursday, June 28th, 2012

Quick: Who was George Fox University’s undergraduate professor of the year in 2008? Who was the staff member of the year in 2009?

If you know, pat yourself on the back! If not, find out these answers and more on the Employee Council site. There, the employees of the year are archived, as are the employees of the month for the last three years. After reading, perhaps you will be inspired to send an e-mail to a colleague — either one who has been honored or one who has not — saying that you appreciate his or her work.

You are always welcome to contact the Employee Council by e-mailing us at employeecouncil@georgefox.edu or by directly contacting an individual on the council (see the website for a list of members).

Please Be Respectful of Each Others Room Reservations

Monday, June 25th, 2012

Room reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.  The Webviewer is a great tool for all employees to utilize when you need to find a room for your meetings.  Please submit room requests through the r25 system so we can process them and send you a confirmation notice.

When the room you want is already taken, please do not call the person who has the space reserved with expectations that they will give up their room to you.  Your options are to choose a different room or change your meeting time to when the room you want is available.  If you need assistance in choosing a different room or finding a different time, please e-mail or call us: newbergevents@georgefox.edu or X2027.

We recognize all meetings as important.  If you feel that your meeting may have a higher priority than that of your co-workers, please contact me and I will help you work through this process.

Thank you,
Lisa Leslie
